Ingredients

  • 1 head Chinese (savoy) cabbage, sliced thin
  • 1 bunch green onions, sliced thin
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 2 packages Ramen noodles
  • 2 cups croutons
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds
  • 1 cup oil
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Melt oleo in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Stir in the soup base from the Ramen noodles and break the noodles into small pieces.
  3. Add the noodles, croutons, sunflower seeds, and sliced almonds to the melted oleo and cook until browned.
  4. Drain the mixture on paper towels and let cool before adding to the salad.
