Ingredients
- 1 (1 lb.) can whole kernel corn ⓘ
- 1 (1 lb.) can cut green beans ⓘ
- 1 (1 lb.) can sliced carrots ⓘ
- 1 (1 lb.) can Ranch Style beans (red beans)
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce ⓘ
- 1 can beef stock or bouillon ⓘ
- 1/3 cup lentils ⓘ
- 1 (1 lb.) can crushed tomatoes ⓘ
- 1/3 cup rice or noodles (uncooked) ⓘ
- 1 lb. stew meat (hamburger) ⓘ
- salt and pepper ⓘ
Instructions
- In a heavy large pot, cook the stew meat in a small amount of oil; season with salt and pepper.
- When the meat is done, add the canned vegetables (whole kernel corn, green beans, sliced carrots, Ranch Style beans) without draining.
- Add the remaining ingredients: beef stock, lentils, crushed tomatoes, rice or noodles, Worcestershire sauce.
- Stir everything together, cover, and cook on low boil (simmer) for 30 minutes until the pasta or rice is cooked.
