Ingredients

  • 1 (1 lb.) can whole kernel corn
  • 1 (1 lb.) can cut green beans
  • 1 (1 lb.) can sliced carrots
  • 1 (1 lb.) can Ranch Style beans (red beans)
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 can beef stock or bouillon
  • 1/3 cup lentils
  • 1 (1 lb.) can crushed tomatoes
  • 1/3 cup rice or noodles (uncooked)
  • 1 lb. stew meat (hamburger)
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. In a heavy large pot, cook the stew meat in a small amount of oil; season with salt and pepper.
  2. When the meat is done, add the canned vegetables (whole kernel corn, green beans, sliced carrots, Ranch Style beans) without draining.
  3. Add the remaining ingredients: beef stock, lentils, crushed tomatoes, rice or noodles, Worcestershire sauce.
  4. Stir everything together, cover, and cook on low boil (simmer) for 30 minutes until the pasta or rice is cooked.
