Ingredients

  • 2 c. buttermilk baking mix
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1 medium green pepper
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. Miracle Whip
  • 1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 375°F.
  2. Mix buttermilk baking mix and water; put into a 12 x 8-inch pan and bake for 10 minutes.
  3. Brown hamburger with chopped green pepper and onion; drain off grease.
  4. Stir in tomato sauce and all seasonings; spoon over warm crust.
