Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 large head cabbage
  • 1 large can tomatoes
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 green pepper
  • 2 Tbsp chili powder
  • 1 can corn
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 can mixed vegetables

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef with chopped onion and chopped green pepper in a large skillet.
  2. Season the meat mixture with salt, black pepper, and chili powder.
  3. In a large pot, slice the cabbage and bring to a boil.
  4. Add the seasoned meat mixture, corn, canned tomatoes, and mixed vegetables to the boiling cabbage.
  5. Simmer the stew for about 20 minutes until the cabbage is crunchy and the flavors meld.
