Ingredients

  • 4 oz. noodles, cooked
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery
  • 8 oz. can tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 3 oz. package cream cheese
  • 1 medium tomato

Instructions

  1. Cook noodles and drain.
  2. In a large skillet, cook ground beef, chopped onion, and chopped celery until meat is browned and onion is tender.
  3. Drain off excess fat.
  4. Stir in tomato sauce and salt, then heat to boiling.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 minute.
  6. Remove from heat.
  7. Stir in cottage cheese, sour cream, and cream cheese, then add cooked noodles.
  8. Pour the mixture into an ungreased 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
  9. Slice the tomato and arrange on top.
  10. Cover and bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
