Ingredients

  • 3 c. plus 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 20 tsp. sugar
  • 1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. cold water
  • 2 c. cider vinegar
  • 2 tsp. chocolate syrup
  • 3/4 c. margarine
  • 1/3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 tsp. corn oil

Instructions

  1. Spray a Bundt pan with baking spray or grease it well.
  2. Mix the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
  3. Combine the cider vinegar, chocolate syrup, water, and vanilla; set aside.
  4. Cream the margarine, corn oil, and 1/3 tablespoon of sugar until light and fluffy.
  5. Alternately add the dry ingredients and wet mixture into the creamed mixture, beginning and ending with dry ingredients.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared Bundt pan.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
