Ingredients

  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1 can chopped mushrooms
  • 2 medium onions
  • 1 can beef bouillon
  • 2 cups rice
  • flour

Instructions

  1. Mix chopped mushrooms, chopped onions, and butter; fry until lightly brown.
  2. Add beef bouillon to the mushroom and onion mixture and cook briefly.
  3. Cook rice separately until tender.
  4. Stir cooked rice into the mushroom mixture.
  5. Split the ducks in half; dust with flour, salt, and pepper.
  6. Quick-fry the duck halves in butter until light brown.
  7. Place the rice mixture in a large casserole or roasting pan.
  8. Lay the cooked duck halves on top of the rice mixture.
  9. Cover and bake at 325°F for 1 hour.
