Ingredients

  • 2 c. self-rising flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1/4 c. cocoa
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk

Instructions

  1. Put flour and sugar in a large bowl.
  2. Bring to a boil the margarine, cocoa, oil, and water.
  3. Add eggs and buttermilk to the mixture.
  4. Stir the liquid into the dry ingredients.
  5. Blend well until smooth.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased 9 x 12-inch pan.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes.
