Ingredients

  • 1 lb. sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (Cheddar, Jack, or Swiss)
  • 1/3 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup Bisquick baking mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 400°F.
  2. Lightly grease a 9 x 9 x 2-inch casserole dish.
  3. Sprinkle cooked and crumbled sausage, shredded cheese, and chopped onion into the bottom of the dish.
  4. In a bowl, beat eggs, milk, Bisquick baking mix, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the sausage, cheese, and onion in the casserole dish.
  6. Bake until a knife inserted halfway between the center comes out clean, about 40 minutes.
