  1. Melt butter in warm milk and water.
  2. In a large bowl, combine 1 1/2 cups flour and all other ingredients.
  3. Beat 3 minutes at medium speed.
  4. By hand, stir in remaining 1 cup flour.
  5. Cover and let rise in a warm place until light, about 45 to 60 minutes.
  6. Preheat oven to 350°F (325°F for glass pan).
  7. Generously grease the bottom and sides of a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
  8. Stir down the dough.
  9. Place the dough in the greased pan.
  10. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes or until golden brown.
  11. Immediately remove from pan.
