Ingredients

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 bananas
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Heavily grease a standard loaf pan with Pam spray.
  3. In a mixing bowl, soften the margarine and combine with sugar.
  4. Add eggs and crushed bananas, and mix well.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and baking soda.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk, until just combined.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  8. Bake at 350°F for approximately 1 hour, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool slightly before removing from the pan and slicing.
