Eggs A Brunch combines savory sausage, melty mozzarella, and flaky crescent rolls for a hearty, cheesy breakfast casserole perfect for weekend gatherings or brunch parties.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. pork sausage
  • 1 (8 oz.) can crescent dinner rolls
  • 2 c. grated Mozzarella cheese
  • 7 eggs
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 1/3 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • a few dashes of Tabasco sauce

Instructions

  1. Crumble the sausage in a skillet and cook until browned.
  2. Drain the sausage and line the bottom of a buttered 13 x 9-inch baking dish with crescent rolls, pressing perforations to seal.
  3. Sprinkle the cooked sausage and grated mozzarella cheese over the crescent rolls.
  4. In a bowl, combine the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and Tabasco sauce; beat well.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the sausage and cheese in the baking dish.
  6. Bake at 425°F (220°C) for 15 to 20 minutes or until set.
  7. Let stand for 5 minutes, then cut into squares and serve immediately.
