- Remove crusts from bread and dice.
- Mix bread cubes with grated cheese and set aside.
- In a large bowl, beat eggs, milk, salt, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and dry mustard.
- Add the bread and cheese mixture to the egg mixture and let stand for 30 minutes.
- Lay partially cooked and drained sausage in an 8 x 8-inch baking dish.
- Pour the egg and bread mixture over the sausage.
- Place the baking dish into a larger dish filled with water to create a water bath.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour or until the top is brown and fluffy.
