Ingredients

  • 2 lb. hamburger meat
  • 2 pkg. taco seasoning
  • 1/2 to 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 pkg. large flour tortillas
  • 2 (16 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 1 white onion
  • 1 lb. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 lettuce head
  • 2 diced tomatoes
  • 3 diced green onions
  • 1 small pkg. sour cream
  • 1 small pkg. sour cream

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, brown the ground meat; drain excess fat.
  2. Add taco seasoning and 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of salt to the meat; cook for a few minutes.
  3. Remove the meat mixture from heat.
  4. Place a portion of the meat in each flour tortilla and roll them like burritos.
  5. Arrange the rolled burritos in a baking pan.
  6. In a large saucepan, combine the tomato sauce, chopped white onion, and 1 teaspoon of salt.
  7. Cook the sauce on medium heat for 20 minutes.
  8. Pour the hot tomato sauce over the rolled burritos in the baking pan.
  9. Garnish with diced lettuce, diced tomatoes, chopped green onions, shredded Cheddar cheese, and a small spoonful of sour cream before serving.
