Ingredients

  • 1 quart water
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 head cabbage, shredded
  • 2 large green peppers, diced
  • 5 large carrots, diced
  • 2 large sweet onions, diced
  • 2 cups cauliflower florets
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups vinegar

Instructions

  1. Pour salted water over the vegetables and let stand for 2 hours.
  2. Drain the vegetables well after soaking.
