A flavorful, layered Mexican dip featuring refried beans, fresh vegetables, salsa, sour cream, and cheese. Perfect for parties and casual gatherings with tortilla chips.

Ingredients

  • 1 can refried beans with green chilies
  • 3 scallions, chopped
  • 1 large tomato, chopped
  • 1 small can sliced olives
  • 1 envelope taco mix
  • 1 jar salsa
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • 1 pkg. shredded Cheddar cheese (sharp)

Instructions

  1. Heat refried beans in a saucepan until soft and warm.
  2. Flatten the beans onto a dinner plate to form a base layer.
  3. Top with taco mix, then chopped scallions, then chopped tomato, then salsa, then sour cream, then shredded Cheddar cheese, then sliced olives.
  4. Serve with tortilla chips.
