Ingredients

  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 6 pork chops
  • onion slices
  • 3/4 cup catsup
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Salt and pepper the pork chops and place them in a shallow baking dish. Top each chop with an onion slice.
  2. Make a sauce by combining the ketchup, water, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, paprika, and chili powder.
  3. Pour the sauce over the pork chops.
  4. Cover the dish and bake at 300°F (150°C) for about 1 1/2 hours.
  5. Uncover the dish during the last 20 minutes of baking to allow the sauce to thicken.
