Ingredients

  • 3 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 6 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 12 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. cold water
  • 1 tsp. instant coffee

Instructions

  1. Mix well the first five ingredients: flour, sugar, cocoa, soda, and salt.
  2. Add vegetable oil, vanilla, and cold water to the dry mixture and stir until combined.
  3. Prepare the coffee by diluting instant coffee in boiling water, then add the coffee mixture to the batter and mix well.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 to 35 minutes.
