- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Flour the chicken breasts and brown them in oil.
- Mix together the cream of chicken soup, white wine, blue cheese, salt, and pepper. Pour into a shallow 3-quart casserole dish.
- Arrange the browned chicken over the mixture and pour some of the mixture over the chicken to coat.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
- Meanwhile, prepare the asparagus by washing and cutting into halves crosswise.
- Remove the casserole from the oven and arrange the asparagus between the chicken breasts.
- Cover tightly with foil and bake for an additional 30 minutes until the chicken is tender and asparagus is tender-crisp.
