Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb chopped figs
  • 1 1/4 cups bread crumbs
  • 1 cup almonds or walnuts, browned
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup candied grapefruit peel
  • 1/4 cup candied lemon peel
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions
