Tips & Substitutions

For a more flavorful meatloaf, consider adding shredded cheese or chopped bell peppers to the filling. If you want to reduce calories, you can substitute lean turkey for the hamburger. Using whole wheat bread instead of regular can also add a nutritional boost. Mixing in fresh herbs like thyme or oregano can elevate the taste.

Serving Suggestions

This filled meatloaf pairs wonderfully with a side of mashed potatoes or roasted vegetables. For a complete meal, consider serving it with a fresh green salad or some crusty bread. It also makes a great filling for a Luncheon Sandwich (Great For Ballgame Nights) if you have leftovers!

Storage & Reheating

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. To reheat, place individual portions in a microwave-safe dish and cover with a damp paper towel to maintain moisture. Alternatively, reheat in the oven at 350°F for about 15-20 minutes until heated through.
