Ingredients
- 4 cups fillet of fish, ground ⓘ
- 3 cups chopped green onions ⓘ
- 1 cup chopped parsley ⓘ
- 3 tablespoons olive oil ⓘ
- 2 cups dry white wine
- 2 teaspoons chopped garlic ⓘ
- 1 tablespoon Louisiana hot sauce or 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper ⓘ
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce ⓘ
- salt to taste ⓘ
- 2 tablespoons chopped pepper ⓘ
- 1 cup seasoned bread crumbs ⓘ
- 8 large bell peppers ⓘ
- 2 (16 oz) cans tomato sauce ⓘ
Instructions
- Grind the fish fillet or put it through a food processor.
- Sauté chopped green onions and parsley in olive oil until tender.
- Add 1 cup of white wine, chopped garlic, hot sauce or red pepper, soy sauce, salt, and chopped pepper to the sautéed mixture.
- Cook until the onions and peppers are tender.
- Let the mixture cool for a few minutes.
- Stuff the mixture into the cleaned bell peppers.
- Place the stuffed peppers in a baking dish and pour the tomato sauce over them.
- Bake until the peppers are tender and the filling is heated through.
