Five Layer Casserole Dinner
A hearty five-layer casserole featuring seasoned ground beef, thinly sliced potatoes, onions, bell peppers, and melted Velveeta cheese, perfect for comforting family dinners.

- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray a 9 x 13-inch glass casserole dish with nonstick spray.
- Mash the ground beef into the bottom of the prepared casserole dish.
- Peel potatoes and slice them thinly. Layer over the ground beef.
- Slice the onion into rings and place over the potatoes.
- Chop the bell pepper and distribute over the onions.
- Pour water evenly over the entire casserole.
- Sprinkle 2 cups of shredded Velveeta cheese on top.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Bake uncovered for 45 minutes.
