Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. minced parsley
  • 1/4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 small onion, chopped fine

Instructions

  1. Beat egg yolks for about one minute.
  2. Add beaten yolks to ground beef along with chopped onion, parsley, salt, pepper, and baking powder.
  3. Mix well and set aside.
  4. Beat egg whites until stiff.
  5. Fold beaten egg whites into the meat mixture and mix well.
  6. Drop tablespoons of the mixture into hot grease.
  7. Fry until browned and cooked through.
