Ingredients

  • 1 to 1 1/2 lb. beef round steak
  • 1 package (10 oz.) frozen green peas
  • 4 medium carrots
  • 4 medium potatoes
  • 1 can (10 1/2 oz.) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 envelope (about 1 1/2 oz.) onion soup mix
  • 8 cherry tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F.
  2. Cut beef round steak into 1-inch pieces.
  3. Place frozen green peas in a colander or sieve.
  4. Run cold water over peas until they are just broken apart, then drain.
  5. Peel and cut carrots and potatoes into chunks.
  6. In a bowl, mix condensed cream of mushroom soup and onion soup mix.
  7. Place beef, carrots, potatoes, peas, and cherry tomatoes on a large sheet of aluminum foil.
  8. Pour the mushroom soup mixture over the ingredients.
  9. Wrap the foil securely to form a sealed packet.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, or until the meat is cooked through and vegetables are tender.
