Instructions
- Cream butter and sugar.
- Add eggs and beat well.
- Sift flour, soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt.
- Add to butter and sugar mixture. Add pumpkin and flour alternately, starting and ending with flour.
- Add nuts and chocolate chips.
- Pour into 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
- Sprinkle with 1/4 cup nuts.
- Bake at 350° for 60 to 70 minutes.
