- Hold aside 1 tablespoon of butter.
- Cut remaining 7 tablespoons of butter into the dry mixture to form coarse crumbs.
- Stir in chopped basil.
- Add plain yogurt gradually, until dough clings together in lumps.
- Form a ball with your hands; knead on a board until dough holds together.
- Roll dough into a log form; slice to make 7 equal pieces.
- Place one piece of dough in the center of a buttered 8-inch round cake pan.
- Surround the center piece with remaining pieces evenly.
- Brush with reserved butter; sprinkle with reserved Parmesan cheese.
- Bake at 400° until golden brown.
