Ingredients

  • 3 lb. lean ground beef
  • 2 c. soft bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1/4 c. barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 c. ketchup
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
  • 6 slices crisp bacon, crumbled
  • 1/2 tsp. liquid smoke (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl; mix well.
  2. Form into 12 large patties.
  3. Grill, pan-fry, or broil until cooked to your taste.
  4. Serve with or without buns.
