Ingredients

  • 2 c. cooked, mashed potatoes
  • 1 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 c. soft bread crumbs
  • 1 c. soft bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Combine cooked mashed potatoes, shredded mozzarella cheese, a large beaten egg, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Shape the mixture into 6 patties.
  3. Dip each patty into a lightly beaten egg, then coat with bread crumbs.
  4. Pour vegetable oil into a large skillet and heat over medium heat.
  5. Fry the patties in hot oil until lightly browned on each side.
  6. Drain on paper towels before serving.
