Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. wonton skins
  • 1 lb. ground beef or pork
  • 1 small can water chestnuts, finely diced
  • 1 large chopped onion
  • 2 stalks green onions, finely diced
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • dash of pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp. sesame oil
  • 1 tsp. cornstarch
  • 1 Tbsp. sake

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground meat in oil until it is brown and crumbly.
  2. Add diced water chestnuts and chopped onion; cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
  3. Season with soy sauce, garlic powder, and pepper; cook for another minute.
  4. Stir in cornstarch dissolved in sake.
  5. Add green onions and cook for 1 minute.
  6. Let the filling cool before using.
