Fruited Chops
Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. cooking oil ⓘ
- 4 pork chops (about 1-inch thick) ⓘ
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed chicken broth ⓘ
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce ⓘ
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar ⓘ
- 1/2 c. apple juice ⓘ
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar ⓘ
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch ⓘ
- 1 tsp. ground ginger ⓘ
- 1 large apple, cored and coarsely chopped ⓘ
- cooked rice ⓘ
- sliced green onions ⓘ
Instructions
- In a 10-inch skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat.
- Brown chops on both sides.
- Stir in chicken broth, soy sauce and vinegar; bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat; cover and simmer 20 minutes or until chops are tender.
