Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups White Lily all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil shiny side up.
  3. Combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt; set aside.
  4. Cream together sugar, brown sugar, and softened butter or margarine.
  5. Beat in eggs, milk, and vanilla until well combined.
  6. Stir in the flour mixture just until blended.
  7. Add semi-sweet chocolate chips and mix well.
  8. Drop by level tablespoonfuls onto the prepared foil-lined baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 12 to 14 minutes.
  10. Cool completely on a wire rack before peeling off the foil.
