A creamy mushroom pasta with green peas and basil, perfect for a quick, comforting meal that combines earthy flavors with a touch of wine for depth.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. pasta
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can green peas
  • 1 jar sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • dash black pepper
  • dash sweet basil
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • grated cheese

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook the pasta until al dente.
  2. While the pasta is boiling, prepare the sauce by heating olive oil in a pan.
  3. Add sliced mushrooms and cook until tender.
  4. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, green peas, and white wine.
  5. Season with black pepper and sweet basil to taste.
  6. Simmer the sauce for a few minutes until heated through.
  7. Drain the cooked pasta and toss with the mushroom sauce.
  8. Serve topped with grated cheese.
