Ingredients

  • 2 lb. lean hamburger
  • 1 lb. lean pork sausage
  • 1 lb. dry bread crumbs
  • 1 quart tomatoes
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped (optional)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. black pepper

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl.
  2. Pour the mixture into a square pan made of metal or glass.
  3. Bake in a 350° to 400°F oven until browned.
