Giant Oat Cookies

- In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and oats.
- In a large bowl, with a mixer at medium speed, beat margarine and peanut butter until smooth.
- Beat in brown sugar and sugar until blended.
- Beat in eggs and vanilla.
- Add flour mixture by hand and mix until well combined.
- Shape the dough into 2-inch balls.
- Place 6 balls on an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Flatten each ball to a 3-inch diameter.
- Bake in a 350°F (175°C) oven for 15 to 17 minutes.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly before transferring to a wire rack.
- Store in a tightly covered container.
