Ingredients

  • 3 cups ground gluten
  • 1 cup ground walnuts, cashews or pecans
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 4 1/2 teaspoons McKays
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 2 bay leaves

Instructions

  1. Shape all ingredients into a loaf.
  2. Place the loaf in a buttered loaf pan.
  3. Pour 1 cup of vegetable stock (made from 1 cup McKays broth, 1 teaspoon McKays, plus 1 cup water) over the roast.
  4. Lay 2 bay leaves on top of the loaf.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 1 1/2 hours.
