Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1 clove garlic (optional)
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • pepper
  • 1 small jar spaghetti sauce
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1½ cups grated Cheddar cheese
  • 8 oz. lasagne noodles, cooked and drained

Instructions

  1. Brown the hamburger in a skillet.
  2. Add garlic (if using), salt, pepper, and spaghetti sauce. Cover and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.
  3. Grease a casserole dish.
  4. Mix chopped onion with sour cream and softened cream cheese.
  5. Place one-third of cooked and drained lasagne noodles in the casserole dish.
  6. Spread one-third of the sour cream mixture over the noodles, then add one-third of the sauce, and sprinkle with one-third of the grated Cheddar cheese.
  7. Repeat layers twice, ending with a layer of Cheddar cheese on top.
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20 to 30 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
