Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. water
  • 4 c. old-fashioned oats
  • 3 c. all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 c. flake coconut
  • 1 c. raisins

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar until well combined.
  2. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  3. Stir in vanilla and water until evenly incorporated.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the old-fashioned oats, all-purpose flour, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips, flake coconut, and raisins.
  7. Press the mixture evenly into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
