Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3 sliced onions
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 (No. 3) can tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup raw rice
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a Dutch oven, brown the ground beef, sliced onions, and chopped green pepper.
  3. Drain excess fat from the mixture.
  4. Stir in the canned tomatoes, raw rice, salt, chili powder, and pepper.
  5. Cover the Dutch oven and bake for 1 hour.
