Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion
  • green pepper to taste
  • 3 tsp chili powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1/3 box instant rice
  • 1 qt tomato juice
  • 1 can peas

Instructions

  1. Cook the rice until tender.
  2. Mix the cooked rice with peas and tomato juice in a large pot.
  3. In a skillet, cook ground beef with chopped onion, green pepper, salt, and chili powder until beef is browned and vegetables are tender.
  4. Combine the cooked beef mixture with the rice, peas, and tomato juice mixture.
  5. Heat through and serve.
