Ingredients

  • 3 lb. canned ham, sliced very thin
  • 10 oz. shredded Swiss or Mozzarella cheese
  • 3 packages (24 count each) dinner rolls
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 3 Tbsp. mustard
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 Tbsp. poppy seed
  • 1 medium onion, chopped fine

Instructions

  1. Mix margarine, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, poppy seed, and chopped onion together in a skillet.
  2. Cook over low heat until the onion is tender.
  3. Split the dinner rolls in half and brush the bottom and top halves with the margarine mixture.
  4. Place slices of ham on each bottom roll half.
  5. Spread shredded cheese evenly over the ham layer.
  6. Replace the top of the rolls on the ham and cheese layers.
  7. Place the assembled rolls in the same pan they came in.
  8. Cover with aluminum foil.
  9. Bake at 350°F for 25 to 30 minutes.
