Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 tablespoon minced onions
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 1/2 cups milk
  • 10 ounces frozen chopped broccoli, cooked and drained
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni, cooked and drained
  • 2 cups cubed cooked ham
  • 3/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Combine flour, minced onions, salt, ground mustard, and pepper in a saucepan and add milk.
  2. Stir until blended and bring to a boil.
  3. Cook for 2 minutes or until thickened and bubbly.
  4. Stir in cooked and drained chopped broccoli.
  5. Add cooked and drained elbow macaroni, cubed cooked ham, and shredded Cheddar cheese to the sauce.
  6. Mix well and transfer to a 2-quart casserole dish.
  7. Bake in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 20 minutes until hot and bubbly.
