Ingredients

  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 1/2 lb lean hamburger
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup chopped dill pickle
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 ounces tomato sauce (1 can)
  • 1/2 teaspoon prepared mustard
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Instructions

  1. Place eggs, hamburger, onion, celery, dill pickle, parsley, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and 1 can of tomato sauce in a bowl; mix well.
  2. Shape into a loaf and place in a shallow baking pan.
  3. Mix the remaining can of tomato sauce, mustard, vinegar, and honey in a bowl.
  4. Pour the sauce mixture over the loaf.
  5. Bake in a preheated 350°F (180°C) oven for 1 hour or until done.
