Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 (1 lb.) can kidney beans, drained
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed tomato soup
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. mashed potatoes
  • 1 egg
  • 2 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Combine ground beef, drained kidney beans, condensed tomato soup, chopped onion, Worcestershire sauce, oregano, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Place the mixture into a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix mashed potatoes, egg, and Parmesan cheese until well combined.
  4. Swirl the potato mixture around the outer edge of the casserole dish, creating a border.
  5. Bake in a moderate oven at 350°F (175°C) for 45 minutes, or until the potatoes are lightly browned.
