Ingredients

  • 2 lb. hamburger meat
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • salt to taste
  • 1 can black olives
  • 1 can Ro-Tel tomatoes with peppers
  • 1 lb. cheese, melted

Instructions

  1. Mix hamburger meat, chopped onion, chopped bell pepper, minced garlic, oil, and salt in an iron skillet and brown the mixture.
  2. Cook until the meat is fully cooked and vegetables are tender.
  3. Add canned black olives and Ro-Tel tomatoes with peppers to the skillet.
  4. Cook the mixture until heated through and flavors meld.
  5. Add melted cheese to the mixture and stir until combined.
  6. Place hot dog buns in foil and fill each with the meat and cheese mixture.
  7. Seal each bun in foil and bake at 250°F for 1 hour.
