Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • green pepper (if desired)
  • celery (if desired)
  • 1 c. bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 c. milk

Instructions

  1. Mix hamburger, diced onion, bread crumbs, egg, salt, and pepper together and form into meatballs.
  2. Brown the meatballs in a skillet on all sides.
  3. Drain all fat from the skillet.
  4. Add cream of mushroom soup and milk to the skillet with the meatballs.
  5. Cook on low heat for 35 to 40 minutes, until sauce is heated through and thickened.
