Hamburger Stuffed Tomatoes With Corn

- Cut the tops off the tomatoes and scoop out the pulp, reserving it.
- Sprinkle the inside of the tomatoes with salt and turn them upside down to drain.
- Cook the hamburger and minced onion until the meat loses its red color, using a small amount of fat if necessary.
- Add the reserved tomato pulp, 1 1/2 teaspoons salt, 1/8 teaspoon pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook uncovered for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until liquid evaporates.
- Fill each tomato with the cooked mixture.
- Combine the fresh corn with 2 tablespoons melted margarine, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/8 teaspoon pepper.
- Place the filled tomatoes into a deep 9-inch pie pan on top of the corn mixture.
- Mix the remaining melted margarine with the soft bread crumbs and sprinkle evenly over the tomatoes.
- Bake at 375°F for 25 minutes or until done.
