Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. margarine
  • 2 large onions, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 small green pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 lb. American cheese, diced
  • 1/2 lb. elbow macaroni, cooked and drained
  • 1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes, broken up
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 c. bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Melt margarine in medium-size skillet.
  2. Add onions and green pepper; cook until limp.
  3. Remove and set aside.
