- In a large bowl, combine hash browns, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, grated Cheddar cheese, chopped onion, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Place the mixture in a large baking pan.
- Combine crushed cornflakes and melted margarine. Sprinkle this mixture on top of the potato mixture.
- Bake in a preheated 350°F oven for 45 minutes.
