- Crush vanilla wafers and blend with margarine.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a large serving dish to form a crust.
- Slice bananas and layer them over the wafer crust.
- Mix lemon juice and condensed milk until thick.
- Pour the milk mixture over the bananas.
- Drain crushed pineapple and layer it over the milk mixture.
- Cover the dessert with Cool Whip.
- Sprinkle shredded coconut on top.
- Add chopped pecans and cherries as garnishes.
